How PriceSavor tests coupons
Our aim is to help you understand what was checked, when it was checked and what happened. A dated test report provides more information than an unexplained verification badge.
What a PriceSavor test record means
When we publish a manual test, we record the offer, shopping region, product or plan, date, result, observed saving and checkout stage reached. We include restrictions we observed and an optional screenshot. A cart or checkout test does not mean that a purchase was completed.
What earns a tested badge?
“Tested by PriceSavor” means the latest published test for that offer worked within the past 30 days, the offer is active and unexpired, and its code and recorded offer details still match. This 30-day window is our editorial rule. Read the report for the tested region and conditions. A later failed or partial test removes the successful-test badge. Older observations remain history, not a promise of current availability.
An offer without a published test record may still work. A legacy verification checkbox alone does not earn the new tested badge. We do not create test dates or screenshots from imported offers.
How to read results
- Worked: the saving applied under the recorded conditions.
- Partially worked: the offer applied only in part or differently from the expected result. Read the test note.
- Failed: it did not apply in that test. Another account, plan or region may behave differently.
Tests are observations, not a statistically representative success rate. Retailers can change eligibility, prices or promotions after a check. Confirm the final total before paying.
Community reports are separate
Visitor “worked” and “didn't work” responses are community reports. They are not PriceSavor staff tests or proof of a completed order. Offer-opening counts measure clicks, not purchases or successful discounts.
Merchant information and sources
Our merchant-specific guides identify source links and checked dates where recorded. Empty or unknown fields are omitted. The retailer's current terms control the offer; a historical source check is not a guarantee that a policy remains unchanged.
Screenshots and corrections
Screenshots are optional supporting evidence. They can show what happened in a particular checkout, but cannot prove that an offer will work for every shopper. We remove metadata when processing images and review screenshots for visible personal information before publication.
If a published test contains an error, we can withdraw it and publish a corrected record. Contact us with the store, offer and issue, or use the offer's community feedback buttons to report your result. Do not send passwords or payment details.

PriceSavor may earn a commission when you buy through some offer links, at no additional cost to you. A commission relationship is not evidence that a coupon works. Test labels are based on recorded results.
